How to Make Our Grilled Ribeye Steak
- Whisk together the avocado oil, Worcestershire sauce, sea salt, ground black pepper, and garlic powder and rub it over both sides of the ribeye steaks, making sure to get the sides of the steak. Seal the steaks in a Ziplock bag or wrap them in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight).
- Remove the steak from the refrigerator 20 minutes before grilling. Preheat the grill to high heat. Grill the steak for 4-5 minutes on either side for a medium rare steak, you can also do indirect heat grilling for a slower cooking process and cook the steaks to your desired doneness.
- Transfer the steak to a plate or cutting board and let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Recipe Notes
- Storage Suggestions: After you are done cooking your steak over medium heat, and it has had the chance to cool down, place steaks in an airtight container and store them in the fridge for 3-4 days.
- Cuts of Meat: If a bone-in ribeye steak is not your cup of tea, that is perfectly okay! You can choose your favorite cut of beef instead of this rib steak. You can choose another bone-in steak or use this dry rub to season steaks like boneless ribeye steaks, filet mignon, or thicker steaks like a strip steak!
